Leigh Hewitt is a representational artist based in Bendigo, working mainly in oils but with the occasional foray into digital mediums and printmaking. Portraiture and still life are the genres he returns to again and again. Capturing human individuality and character, and documenting everyday scenes and objects are his main concerns. He has exhibited at galleries and cafes locally, and in Wagga Wagga, Melbourne and Taiwan.
